I picked up this 42 LCD HDTV from Sams club, under a different model number, and have been excited by its performance for the entire 3 months I have owned it. HD pictures are rich and vibrant as to be expected. Standard resolution looks good, but it is important to understand that the image quality is only as good as the source. Some non-hd digital channels look awesome, near HD quality in overall appearance. I am consistenly stunned.
